FOUR ONE-DAY courses have been arranged by Freight Training to be held in Johannesburg during the next two months. Courses are also planned for Harare, Durban and Cape Town.

The first will be ÔExporting into Africa', with Johannesburg dates of January 20 and February 24. This comprises separate presentations given by a group of experts dealing with topics of specific importance to the exporter. It will be followed by a workshop.

Coming to Terms With INCO will be held on January 23 and February 10. This deals with the ICC's Incoterms 1990. The course deals exclusively with the subject of International Purchase Terms (INCO 1990).

The third course is Freight Management Overview', to be held on four days - January 21 and February 5, 13 and 25. Contract of sale, insurance, methods of payment and documentation in freight, as well as a brief look at Incoterms, calculating landed costs and/or sales prices and electronic trading will be under discussion.

Finally Currency Risk Management' will be held on January 26 and February 18.

Each course includes lunch, parking and a certificate. Anyone interested in attending in areas other than Johannesburg should contact the organisers directly.
