On 18 November 2024, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) invited comment on the Deletion and insertion of various tariff subheadings as well as the insertion of Additional Note 1 under Chapter 44 to provide for technical amendments for statistical purposes in Part 1 of Schedule No.1 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 ‘Ordinary Customs Duty’, which is due by 02 December 2024.
