The Development Bank of South Africa (DBSA) is working with The Infrastructure Bank (TIB) in Nigeria to help the West African country adopt South Africa’s model of toll road management, reports the Nigerian media. This was announced by the managing director of TIB, Abdulrasaq Oyinloye, in Abuja last week at the opening of a training programme on toll roads and road management, according to Nigeria’s Leadership newspaper. Oyinloye reportedly said DBSA had been involved in the funding of roads projects in South Africa and TIB was working closely with the bank to replicate and adapt its model to Nigeria’s environment.
