AT THE annual general meeting of the SA Shippers Council (SASC) the new board for 2003/2004 was elected. Andre Botha of Iscor was elected chairman, with Eric Lerata of Columbus Steel vice-chairman. The five board members are LM Pelser of Sasol; Kevin Odendaal of PPC; Henry Mhlongo of Foskor; Ashley Govender of Anglo Base Minerals; and Douw Jooste of Sasol.
