New handler ramps up efficiency

SACD Freight has just purchased a new container handler to enhance efficiencies at its Durban operation, According to SACD regional director, Mike Martin, this follows the acquisition of its first Taylor THDC 975 loaded container handler about two years ago. “This improved the full container operational efficiencies and capacity on-site. Because the facility has now become even busier, we have invested in a new Taylor TEC SP-156H empty container handler.” Taylor container handlers and reach stackers are available exclusively throughout Africa from BLT, according to Clinton van den Berg, BLT products manager. SACD Freight handles over 400 000 containers annually and stores over 8 000 full and empty containers nationally at any one time.
