A NEW contender in the local groupage market has just opened its doors. With offices in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, NVOCC Freight Services will initially concentrate on exports, hubbing cargo in Europe and Singapore. Headed up by veteran groupage specialists Pete Sands and Lynn Quinn, the company is European-financed. The Europe and Singapore hubs will be served weekly, while a fortnightly service will be offered to Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius, Ghana and Dubai, with South America to follow. "We have secured heavy base loads which allow us to offer very competitive rates and service," said Sands.
