New forklift can lift up to 50t

Adding further muscle to its cargo handling capabilities, Lovemore Bros has invested in a new Terex® forklift capable of lifting 50 tons. “The new Terex fulfils the requirements of even the most challenging and difficult handling tasks with its powerful container handling and excellent manoeuverability,” said Lovemore Bros director, Bruce Lovemore. “Its front stabilisers enable high outreach with high loads at low ground pressure. It’s also capable of stacking up to six high-cube containers in the first row and even high capacity stacking in the second and third container rows,” he said. The machine will be offered to the market on an ad hoc hire basis – with Lovemore Bros’ complementary services which include trained operators experienced in the movement of heavy machines. “We can quickly mobilise this machine to any site in southern Africa,” said Lovemore. Investing in machinery that is versatile and flexible and which offers clients a full spectrum of services is core to what Lovemore Bros believes in, he added.
