Thomas Cook Airlines will launch a direct service from Cape Town to Gatwick, effective December 15, 2016 until March 20, 2017 on a trial basis. Tickets are currently on sale online and return tickets, based on a trip from January 17-23, 2017, are priced from £599.98 (R14 358) for economy and £829.98 (R19 862) for premium class.
The return flights operate on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.
