New contender enters SA - Kenya route

REGIONAL AIRLINES, a British Airways franchise holder in Kenya, will launch a service between Nairobi and Johannesburg during September. The aircraft will flight in BA livery in the same style as BA/Comair. The airline will use Comair check-in facilities in Johannesburg but will not be a joint venture with the South African-based airline, says Piet van Hoven, managing director of BA/Comair. Full details regarding schedules and cargo capacity are to be announced shortly.
