On 25 April the South African Revenue Service (Sars) announced that following queries received, National Treasury had published, for urgent comment, explanatory notes on further Covid-19 tax measures, and notices relating to expanding access to living annuities. Due to the time constraints to have these notices signed into law with immediate effect, public comment is due by 28 April.
