MANICA FREIGHT Services Mozambique is turning its attention northwards to the planned privatisation of Nacala harbour, in which Manica will be one of four partners involved in the management and development. Privatisation plans should have been completed last year, but technical hitches on the side of government authorities which have been handling the change have resulted in a delay. “We expect these to be cleared up during the third quarter of this year,” said group operations director Ahmed Chothia.
