Global schedule reliability, which has been on an upward trend for the whole of the year, saw its first month-on-month drop in June of -2.5 percentage points to 64.3%.
That said, it is still a massive 24.4 percentage points higher year-on-year, according to the latest Global Liner Performance report published by maritime consultancy Sea-Intelligence.
The average delay for late vessel arrivals on the other hand improved by a marginal -0.1 days to 4.36 days.
In the last three months (including June), the average delay for late vessel arrivals has been within 0.03 days. On a y-o-y level, the figure was -2.01 days lower.
MSC was the most reliable carrier in June, coming in at 70.6%, unseating Maersk which achieved 69.9% reliability.
MSC was the only carrier with a score over 70%, while there were six carriers (including Maersk) in the 60%-70% range.
