Miscellaneous Tariff Amendments

On 17 June 2022, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) informed of the amendment to Part 1 of Schedule No.1 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964, by the substitution of certain Notes and insertions of new 8-digit tariff subheadings under several Chapters in Part 1 of Schedule No.1 to the Act, 1964, to implement technical and other miscellaneous amendments.

By the deletion of the following:

7308.20.10 Lattice masts for telegraph lines or electric power lines

7318.16.20 Hexagon dome nuts, hexagon nuts with non-metallic inserts, hexagon  collared nuts and hexagon self-locking nuts

By the insertion of the following:

2903.69.10 Phenyl chloride

2903.69.90 Other

2920.19.10 O,O-Diethyl phosphonodithioate

2920.19.90 Other

2920.29.10 Triisopropyl phosphite

3004.90.97 Medicaments, containing cannabis or cannabinoids
