IS THE grass always greener on the other side? At Emirates SkyCargo the answer is 'yes', even if it is a somewhat coarse, tough brand of grass.
The airline has been flying out loads of seeds to have the special blend planted in the desert! It seems that the experiment where grass was grown successfully on the mine dumps surrounding Johannesburg has caught the eye of certain Middle East citizens.
Two successive Emirates aircraft holds were loaded with shipments of eight and four tons of seeds last week destined for the desert and the receivers are confident they will soon have solid growth.
