MARITIME AFRICA 2002 - the trade exhibition for the maritime and ports services industries which was scheduled to take place from 10 - 13 April 2002 at the Durban Exhibition Centre - has been postponed as plans unfold for a re-launch of this exhibition. The organisers, Kagiso Exhibitions, have entered negotiations to host the Maritime Africa trade exhibition alongside a major international maritime and port operations event planned to be held in South Africa in 2003/4. This in the light of an oversupply of maritime related conferences and events taking place around the country in 2002.
