Lufthansa cabin crew strikes ruled out till end-June

Lufthansa and its main cabin crew union, UFO, have agreed to a deal which should see the carrier free of cabin crew strikes until the end of June.

They have agreed to preliminary deals on pay and pensions and a mediation scheme for other areas of dispute, all designed to achieve the ‘no strike’ condition.

The two parties battled over a range of issues for much of last year – which finally ended up in November with the longest strike in the carrier’s history.
