THE BRITISH High Commissioner to Zambia, Alistair Harrison, believes that low inflation is an important landmark for Zambia and should boost the national economy in the long and medium term. It should also serve to attract local and foreign investors in various economic sectors across the country, he said. But he also noted that the Bank of Zambia should recognise that it will have to consider interventions that will enable exporters to survive the strengthening local currency.
