ALAN PEAT THE AIRFREIGHT consolidator and logistics company MK Freight Systems – newly established by shareholders Mandla Mandela and Cacho Cabral - has concluded negotiations with MK Airlines for global capacity to-and-from SA. Captain Mike Kruger has agreed to join the company board, and to ensure the integration of the global freight system that the airline serves. Primary targets of MK Freight Systems will be developing the SA airfreight export logistics flow, seeking to work closely with the department of transport and co-operating with other carriers – particularly with national carrier SAA. “We want to diversify and innovate the logistics provision of services to exporters,” said chairman Mandela.
