Lines put final touches to service level agreements

Alan Peat THE SERVICE level agreements (SLAs) between the shipping lines and SA Port Operations (Sapo) are into their final stages of completion, Dave Rennie, c.e. of Unicorn Lines and chairman of the Container Liner Operators Forum (Clof) told FTW. It's out of Clof hands, he added, now that the basic framework of the SLAs has been constructed, agreed and passed by Sapo's legal scrutineers. "The individual lines are currently starting to discuss each of their own agreements with Sapo," said Rennie.
