CMA CGM is to extend the coverage of its Indian Ocean Feeder North service.
“This will connect with the Swahili service at the Longoni hub, allowing a faster and easy connection from Europe, Mediterranean, India and Middle East Gulf to the Indian Ocean North Zone,” a statement from the carrier said.
The shipping line operates the fortnightly service with one 738-TEU vessel, and the first ship to be deployed on the new port rotation will be the HH South. She is due to call at Longoni tomorrow (January 27).
Adding Nosy Be and Antsiranana (Diego Suarez), the port coverage will be: Longoni, Moroni, Mutsamudu, Nossi Be (alternate call), Antsiranana (alternate call), Majunga, and back to Longoni.
