Export services record
15-fold increase

EMPOWERMENT FORWARDING company Katlego Global Logistics has recorded a 15-fold increase in revenue from export services over the past year, creating a significant number of permanent new jobs on its trail of success.
Integrity is probably what best describes managing director Moses Maboi who took home the special award as a new entrant to the export market in last year’s Gauteng Exporter of the Year Award, becoming the first black empowerment company to be recognised at the event.
From small beginnings seven years ago Katlego now represents well-known corporate clients like Standard Bank, Altech, Dell Computers , Prism Payment Technologies and the SA Post office.
Katlego has concentrated on developing its business in difficult African markets and has secured substantial new business, particularly in Tanzania, with the introduction of a road freight service to counter port delays.
Fiercely committed to the true principles of black economic empowerment, Maboi sees his success as an opportunity to provide jobs and training for the previously disadvantaged.
