The air cargo industry in Israel suffered considerable disruption last week as most of the international carriers flying to and from Tel Aviv cancelled flights after a rocket strike close to Ben Gurion International Airport.
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) banned all US flights, and Air Canada, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France and Alitalia all stopped their services.
Most flights had resumed by the end of the week, and air cargo operators were reported to have almost cleared the backlog after several days of disruptions.
