Internship: Trade Remedies I and II (Ref: ITAC06/2026)

Should you or someone you know be interested in an internship at the International Trade Administration of South Africa (ITAC), you should respond to its invitation to apply, which closes on 05 August 2026 at 12:00 PM.

The details of the internship follow:

ITAC invites applications for internship opportunities. Applications from those aged 18 to 35 will be considered. Successful Interns will be appointed for the period of 24 months. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in economics majoring in international trade, macroeconomics and statistics. The following conditions shall apply: Applicants must be unemployed graduates in possession of the relevant tertiary qualification as indicated above and be South African citizens. Applicants should have no previous work experience, including previous internships. Successful applicants will sign an internship agreement. In terms of ITAC’s Employment Equity requirements, preference will be given to African males, White males, White females, Indian males, Indian females, Coloured males, Coloured females and persons with disabilities. ITAC reserves the right not to fill the advertised position if no suitable candidates are identified. Candidates with foreign qualifications are responsible for having their qualifications evaluated by SAQA. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
