Intermodal Africa conference lines up speakers

THE FUTURE of global
trade and the economy
are among the key topics
for deliberation at the
6th International Africa
Intermodal conference.
The event is scheduled
for February 28 and 29 next
year in Accra, Ghana.
Also on the agenda is
the growing demand for
containerised freight, current
progress of infrastrucutural
development, ports included,
an overview of future
container traffic and threats
affecting the maritime
sector.
Speakers include the
Ghanaian minister of
Harbours and Railways; John
Thompson, chief executive
officer of the Railroad
Association of South Africa;
Tau Morwe, CE of Transnet
Port Terminals; and Richard
Nicholson, Africa region vice
president for APM Terminals.
