Industry accolades

MAERSK LINE scooped its Asian competitors when it won all the 'Best Shipping Line' categories in a recent survey conducted by Cargonews Asia.
Shippers in 14 Asian countries voted Maersk the Best Global Shipping Line and the Best Shipping Line in the Transpacific, Asia-Europe, Intra-Asia and Asia-Middle East trades.
* SAFMARINE took top honours in the sea cargo sector and SAA in air cargo in a recent survey of 100 companies involved in importing and exporting conducted by business magazine Professional Management Review.
Runners up were Lufthansa and KLM in joint second place and Mediterranean Shipping Company.
The Heneways Group was first in the clearing and forwarding sector.
