China will send a group of

specialists to Mozambique next

year to help establish an industrial

park.

Chinese ambassador to

Mozambique, Su Jian, said: “The

Mozambican government has

already identified a number of

potential locations. Once that

has been finalised, Chinese

and Mozambican companies

will be invited to tender for the

construction of the initial phase of

the project.”

China is one of the major foreign

investors in Mozambique and has

implemented several initiatives to

help the debt-ridden country grow

its economy, including debt relief

programmes and low interest loans.
