THE INSTITUTE of Export (IEX) has applied for affiliate membership of the International Association of Trade Training Organisations (IATTO).
The Institute of Marketing Management (IMM)intends to be a world recognised organisation, hence our decision to make this application, says John Arnesen, training manager of the IMM Graduate School of Marketing, of which IEX is a division.
The IEX is also preparing a submission to the Maritime Industry Training Board (MITB) to ensure that we meet the South African labour and education legislative requirements.
IEX focuses on education and training in international trade. Currently their education programmes are recognised by the Institute of Export, UK, which will grant full membership status to those who hold the IEX graduate diploma in export management.
