Hoegh’s new direct service steams ahead

JANUARY THIS year saw the launch by Hoegh Autoliners of a new PCTC service from Brazil to South Africa, the Middle East and Far East, replacing the previous shuttle between Brazil and Durban. The direct monthly service calls Rio Grande, Santos, Durban, Dubai, Singapore, Shanghai and Masan. Direct calls at other discharge ports are considered subject to inducement. Vehicles to Australian, East African and Indian Ocean ports are transhipped in Durban, while Dubai is the hub for other AG ports including Bandar Abbas. Vehicles destined for ports in Indonesia, Thailand and the like are transhipped in Singapore.
