Hans Duncker has been appointed general manager for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in the Western Cape. He entered the shipping and forwarding industry in Hamburg, Germany 34 years ago and arrived in Johannesburg in 1976 as managing director Hermann Ludwig Organisation. Three years later he was to open his own company, CTC Cargo Transport Consultants, later to be named CTC Cargo Transport Company specialising in export and import commodities. He also represented Coreck Maritime in this country from 1991 to 1994.
