Shipping major CMA CGM has hiked rates on the Asia-South Africa route.
A General Rate Restoration (GRR) of US$200 per TEU takes effect on 15 June (B/L).
It will apply to all cargo - dry, reefer, OOG and breakbulk – from China, Taiwan, South Korea, South East Asia, East Coast of India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka (Japan excluded) to all SA ports.
