Get ready for euro

FOR THE currency crunchers amongst our readers it is worth remembering that, when you return from your holidays next year, the European Union (EU) will have gone "euro". Although the British pound will still be up-and-running because of that country's current "Euro-sceptic" government policy, all the Deutsche marks, French and Belgian francs, Dutch guilders, Spanish pesos et al in the Union will then be expressed in euros.
