ADDITIONAL CATEGORIES have been included in the 2002 Gauteng Exporter of the Year Award competition, the second to be arranged by the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) in co-operation with Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank (SCMB). The manufacturing/production category has now been split into three sections, separating companies under R20 million, R21-200 million and above R201 million. In the services sector there will be separate awards for financial institutions, logistics enterprises and others, the latter a category giving opportunity to organisations such as consultants and engineers. There will be a winner in each category as well as an overall winner. The event is co-sponsored by Maersk Sealand and National Ports Authority of South Africa.
