The Port Liaison Forum (PLF) in Cape Town has called on the industry to come forward with any examples penalties imposed for late VAT penalties.
This is part of an attempt by PLF to address legislation that allows customs to impose a 10 percent penalty for late or inaccurate payment of VAT.
