For those in the refrigerated warehousing and transport sectors, the company is offering a range of patented, temperature-resistant scanners - with full network availability and bar code scanning.
These units - termed “frost-free scanning (FFS)” by the makers - are suitable for -20¼C refrigerated environments in standard format, and -30¼C in their extreme temperature versions.
Psion Teklogix claims to be the only wireless terminal manufacturer accepted as a full member of the US-based International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW) and the European Cold Storage & Logistics Association (ECSLA).
