FRENCH LINE CMA CGM is on a fleet expansion drive.
At the beginning of this year the line placed an order for a fleet of 8200 TEU capacity vessels. At the time, these were among the biggest ever built.
Today, in response to market growth, the Group has decided to jumboise some of these ships, adding a hold which will bring their capacity to 9163 TEUs.
They are due to be delivered from Hyundai Shipyard as from 2006-2007.
