BLACK-OWNED Logistics and supply chain group Guqula Holdings has acquired a 50% share of transport major Freight Haul. Guqula already owns 50% of Natro Group Holdings and its subsidiary Natro Fuel and Chemical Logistics, which sets the stage for a strategic link-up of the two independent freight companies. Natro Freight MD Jake Alberts and Guqula executive chairperson Vusi Andrew Khuzwayo jointly announced the new deal last week. Natro Freight specialises in transportation, project management and logistics solutions for the mining, automotive, fuel and chemical industries. The company’s long-term strategy involves listing the company. Both companies will continue to operate under their current identities.
