Freedom of London bestowed on SA freight personality

Kevin Mayhew
PAST INTERNATIONAL president of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, Marshell Murton, a retired executive of Barloworld Ltd, has received the Freedom of the City of London.
Early last year Murton retired as an executive of Barloworld Limited after 45 years' service. He had been Group GM: administration since 1993.
Murton started as a clerk in a buying department in 1959 and qualified as a chartered secretary in 1996.
