KEVIN MAYHEW
THE CEO of the Road Freight Association (RFA), Sipho Khumalo, and its policy and regulation manager, Bongi Mpondo, have left the representative body to pursue new and personal business interests, according to a statement from RFA chairperson, Thandeka Mgoduso. Last week FTW exclusively announced the imminent departure of Khumalo. As an interim measure, the RFA Board has appointed Sharmini Naidoo as acting CEO. Prior to this appointment, Naidoo was the RFA’s business support services manager. The RFA has changed its structure to provide for continuity of services to its members, the statement said.
