Ethiopian Airlines alters schedule

Dedicated B767 service introduced ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES will change its schedule and flights from October 27 to leave Johannesburg for Addis Ababa on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. That's according to local GSA Airline Cargo Resources. Currently the flights depart on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The schedule will also change from evening flights to morning/afternoon departures. The airline has been operating with a scheduled B757, which was upgraded on occasion to a B767. A dedicated B767 service will now be introduced on Wednesday and Friday, allowing for the movement of more voluminous cargo, such as mining equipment. ACR has also introduced a courier product on Ethiopian Airlines, providing a rapid delivery to Addis Ababa. Stuart Tonkin at the Pomona headquarters of ACR has been appointed to handle this service.
