The Southern African Customs Union (SACU) announced that effective from 15 July, and until 14 July 2023, the Kingdom of Eswatini will hold the Chairmanship of the SACU Summit, Council of Ministers and Commission.
Eswatini takes over from the Republic of Botswana which has been the SACU Chair from 15 July 2021 up to and until 14 July this year. The SACU Chairmanship rotates amongst the Member States for a period of twelve (12) months and does so in alphabetical order.
