Gauteng saw foreign

investment from 13 global

companies – mainly from

emerging markets – during the

2014/2015 financial year.

Announcing the province’s

financial results earlier this

month, Gauteng MEC for

Economic Development,

Lebogang Maile, said that

the Gauteng Growth and

Development Agency (GGDA)

had facilitated 13 investments

mainly from China, followed

by India, Brazil, Russia and

Portugal.

“These investments are in

agro-processing, property

development, business process

outsourcing and green energy,”

said Maile.
