The Maersk Eindhoven finally arrived in LA at the weekend and is currently working, according to an advisory from the line.
The 13 100-TEU vessel, which lost 260 boxes overboard in rough seas between Xiamen in China and Los Angeles in February, left APM Terminals at the Port of Yokohama on March 2.
The line says it’s possible that additional containers may have incurred damage but did not require cross-stuffing at the berthing in Yokohama. “We will know as we continue discharge operations in Los Angeles.”
