EAS grows strategic presence in Africa

EXPRESS AIR Services has set its focus on growing a strategic presence and representation in Africa. “With our national and regional representation within southern Africa - Namibia, Lusaka and Harare - we can offer our partner airlines access to markets that reach beyond Johannesburg and Cape Town,” says EAS marketing and sales director Neil Harris. “We view this integrated infrastructure as a major advantage,” he said. EAS’s international flagship, Qatar Airways, has outperformed everyone’s expectations in terms of service, yield and volume attraction, says Harris. “This is due in no small part to the airline’s ‘5-star’ status. We believe our success in the GSSA market lies in our philosophy of connecting freight agents and airlines through relationships that offer mutual benefit. “The GSSA function has became an integral part of the airline industry logistical chain,” says Harris, “and EAS has taken up the challenge with a commitment to service that the domestic and African market demands.”
