BRIAN DYKE, Kuehne & Nagel branch manager in Durban, has been
promoted to national manager for Zambia, headquartered in Lusaka.
Dyke left Durban for his new post at the end of March after having
developed a strong flow of goods from the port into several African
destinations.
Formerly branch manager in East London, he moved to the Durban position three years ago where his vast knowledge of customs procedures proved valuable. He had served for a number of years in the customs
service before joining Kuehne & Nagel.
His new post will see him playing a pivotal role in the development of
the company's trade
with Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo, both of which are building new trade
relations with the rest of southern Africa after their lengthy spells of internal strife.
Kuben Reddi has been promoted to acting branch manager Durban.
