Durban terminal manager resigns

FTW HAS learned that the manager of the Durban container terminal, Ton Bestenbreur, will be leaving his position at SA Port Operations shortly.
Bestenbreur has twice been manager of the terminal, having resigned after a previous term of office to take up a position as director of an Italian container terminal. On completion of that contract he returned to South Africa and was appointed manager of the Durban Fresh Produce Terminal, a position he held until Sapo headhunted him to manage the Durban container terminal for the second time.
There has been no official confirmation of his resignation or a possible successor.
