Dubai has proposed a finance deal of over R43 billion to boost the capacity of its two international airports, enabling them to handle up to 146 million passengers by 2025.
Already Dubai International Airport (DXB) is the world’s largest international airport in passenger numbers.
The new Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) is planned to take over as the primary airport for Dubai from 2025, as well as become home to the national carrier, Emirates Airline.
