Dti mission heads for key African trading destinations

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Mzwandile Masina, will lead a business delegation to Ghana and Nigeria from August 17-21.

Bilateral trade between South Africa and Ghana recorded an upward trend between 2010-2014, growing from R2.6 billion to R10.8 billion, while bilateral trade between South Africa and Nigeria grew from a total of R20.5 billion in 2010 to R66.2 billion in 2014.

Sectors targeted for the mission range from agriculture and agro-processing to furniture and wood processing, energy and mining.
