DSV underscores Africa focus

DSV Air & Sea Holdings takes Africa “very seriously” as a strategic trade partner. The company has, over the past year, established a presence in 12 countries including Zambia, Mozambique, Botswana, Burundi, Ghana and Nigeria. “We will strive to get them operating on the same level as the four South African branches we have in four major cities,“ vice-president of DSV, Peter Larsen, told FTW at the official launch of the company’s new head office premises in Kempton Park last week. Danish ambassador to South Africa, Rene Dinesen – who attended the official launch – said that there were more and more international companies investing in South Africa and reiterated Denmark’s commitment to growing trade between the two countries as part of what he termed a “new strategy” of growth and development.
