Direct flights between Kenya and the US are on the cards after an audit by America’s Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) of facilities and security at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta airport rated it at Category One status.
Currently, flights from the US to Kenya must either transit through Europe or one of the only four countries in Africa with Category One status - Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Nigeria or SA, reports Airwise News.
