On 18 March 2022, the South African Revenue Service (SARS) informed of amendments to Part 3 of Schedule No.6 to the Customs and Excise Act, 1964 by the substitution of Note 6, to give effect to the review of the Diesel Refund System.
The Diesel Refund System will come into effect from a date to be determined by notice in the Government Gazette.
